September 18th 2011 Christines Condition

Hello friends and family,

This is Terri Murnane, I am Christines Aunt and I found that making this blog would be a great way to update everyone on her condition.

As you may or may not know, Christine was involved in an accident on Friday September 16th 2011 at 11:38 pm. Christine and her boyfriend were taken to Kern Medical Center for treatment. She has gone through one surgery and is still in the ICU. She broke her pelvis, had her spleen removed, as well as part of her lung. Her kidneys are failing also, she is being placed on dialysis in the morning.

Her parents, Mark and Kathy, are with her right now at Kern County Medical Center.
I was up there earlier and Kathy requested that I set something up to update friends and family on her condition. I will be checking this blog and making updates on a daily basis. Also, when Christine gets better she will be able to look at the messages you sent and be reminded of all the love and support that she has in this world.

Please send your love and prayers towards Christine and her family. We know that with enough love and support, larger miracles have happened.

We all love you so much and can't wait to see you. I miss you and I'm looking forward to that special occasion you invited me to be apart of. 2. Dear Chantal,

Thank you for all of your loving words of support for Christine. I plan to read to her all of the comments when I go back up to see her in a few days. Unfortunately, she isn't able to receive flowers or gifts at time in intensive care. However, I would be more than happy to bring any cards to her and read them. The doctors say that she can still hear us even though she is in an induced coma. Thank everyone at work as well, and let her boss know she will definitely want to come back to work. It will give her an additional incentive to push through the lengthy and difficult recovery she will have in front of her. Let me know if you want get me the cards or send them. Thank you again,
    Terri (Christine's aunt)

  6. Dear Christine,

You are such a beautiful person inside and out. I remember you came and found me one day because you could tell I was upset. You hardly knew me, but you wanted to reach out to me and make sure I was okay. I know we havent gotten to know each other that well, but you have shown nothing but kindness to me. I just know you are going to pull through this. You have amazing friends and family that need more time with you. My whole family is praying for you. And when you get back home Ill make sure James waits on you hand and foot :)

You have always been like a little sister to me, and even though time has gotten away from us, this, on a positive note, is a perfect reminder to always tell the ones you love how special they are and always take the time to show them you care. 10. Thank you Jenna, as you too are giving me hope. The common thread among all of your comments is how strong Christine is and the power within herself to fight her way back to us! My gratitude for all of your words is so overwhelming.
