I wanted to let everyone know that Christine made it through the surgery! Although she is still on the critical list, her lung function has improved slightly. The doctors won't give us any definite prognosis yet, but we feel very encouraged by the outcome. All of your prayers seem to be working, so please keep it coming. Again, I plan to read everything that is being said about her. Even if she is still in the coma, those words are keeping Christine and her family going. I can't thank you enough!

Thank you so much for all the updates. Your love for Christine is so palpable, overwhelming, and sincere... and I'm sure it's what is keeping her fighting at this very moment.
ReplyDeleteBest news ever! She clearly wants to stay with us! Look how important every day is! We all need to value every day and every minute. I am grateful that she is fighting to stay. I'm sure your Mom and Dad and Steve had a talk with the Big Guy.
ReplyDeleteI can't stop crying every time I read all of the incredible words of encouragement I hear from her friends! The pain is so overwhelming, but I feel closer to Christine when I connect with the countless people that love her. It is definitely a group effort that is keeping her hanging on. I'm just waiting for another update and I will share it with all of you.
