COMING TOGETHER IN MEMORY OF YOU-WE LOVE YOU CHRISTINE
CHRISTINE AND KATELYN ON OUR GIRL'S TRIP TO LAS VEGAS 2010
It was so much harder saying goodbye to you yesterday than I ever imagined! I know you were smiling down on all of many people who came to celebrate and remember the tremendous impact that you had on all of our lives! You gave more to us than you'll ever know. I definitely see and feel you in Katelyn. The overwhelming pain I feel every single day is sometimes more than I can handle. However, I feel your love coming through each and every time I see or speak to one of you awesome friends! There is a bond with them, for which I am forever grateful. You are my heart and always will be♥
LOVE ALWAYS
TERRI
I am very sorry for your lots loss of one of the most amazing and beautiful girls on this planet. Everyday I think about her I can only imagine how you or your family feel. I wish I could have spent more time with her. She definitely had a golden spirit that will live through all of us. Christine Felgar may you fly high above us happy, joyus, and free.

I love your mention of a golden spirit, as it just seems to fit her powerful personality. I also hope and do believe that Christine is flying high above us happy, joyous, and free. I miss you so, but I do feel you near me.

Terri,
ReplyDeleteI have finally found the courage to open your blog site since I learned of Christine's passing on Monday, October 10. One of my staff realized that Christine was one of my campers and staff for the City of Redondo Beach and she told me what happened. I was completely devistated by the news and it has taken some time to finally open your blog. I knew James, Kathy and Mark pretty well since my older son, Brooks, was in a lot of the same activities as James, even though I think he might have been closer in age to Christine...and they went to the same high school. She was in a lot of my programs as a Breakwater Day Camper, a Counselor in Training, and then a Recreation Leader. The Felgar family was a big part of the community when it came to recreation and sports!
I remember her being fearless and a go-getter so I was completely surprised that she wasn't able to recover from her accident. It saddens me to know that she is gone, but I am thankful that she was a part of my life during her time with the Recreation programs. I am glad I got to see her grow from a spunky youthful girl into such a beautiful, sweet young lady.
Terry, can you please pass on my condolences to Christine's parents and brother for me? They can reach me anytime at the Redondo Beach Recreation department.
